In this tutorial we will learn how to make Clean Text with Effects and Reflexion in Photoshop.

What we will do

Step 1 – Background

Go to File – New and create a document with 500×200 pixels and black background (select “Paint Bucket Tools” and fill the background with black)

Step 2 – Add text to our scene

Pick the “Horizontal Type Tool” (T) and write Clean Text Effect.
Century Gothic Font – Regular – Size 40pt – Anti-Aliasing  Smooth

Step 3 – Setting up the effects

Select from the Layers Panel, the Cleant Text Effect Layer,  right click and select Blending Options.

Step 4 – Adding reflexion and other stuffs

- Right Click on the “Clean Text Effect” Layer and select Duplicate Layer and click OK.

- Select the Second “Clean Text Effect” Layer and Right Click on it and select Rasterize Type and use SHIFT + Down Arrow to move  the duplicated text under the original.

- Once you rasterized the second layer, go to Edit – Tranform – Flip Vertical.

- Select “Gradient Tool” and set the color 1 to black and color 2 to white.

- Press “Q” and Hold Shift and draw the mask from a little bit up near center and move a little bit down.

- Press again “Q” and you’ve made a masked selection. Now press “Delete” to delete our selection.

- Set the Opacity of the reflexion text to 50%.

- For additional effect duplicate the original Text Layer and set opacity yo 30% and move for about 2 up moves and 2 left moves.

Step 5 – Final Results and PSD Download

In the end you should have a similar result.
